《歌》原词

　　1974年，大佑发表了第一首创作歌曲：《歌》，该曲英文原词为英国著名女诗人C.G.罗赛蒂，表现人生对生死的顿悟。后经“五四”时期著名诗人徐志摩翻译中文，最早见于1928年6月10日《新月》1刊4期。大佑将部份词改编，以适于歌曲的要求，保留了原作中哀婉忧伤的气氛，于悠扬的旋律中表现对人生归宿的超脱。虽然这只是大佑同志的第一首作品，但其清纯的气质、旋律创作的造诣已初见一斑。从这首歌起，标志着大佑同志早期的浪漫风格的建立，也预示着乐坛一位天才的诞生。该曲的第一版编曲极其简单，只采用单纯的击他伴奏，校园气氛浓厚，到『罗大佑情歌74－89』发行时，大佑重新演绎了这首处女作，击他伴奏更为精巧，背景和声宛如天籁之音，传达着阴阳交界的回响，将此歌从尘封的记忆中唤醒，一跃成为大佑早期最重要的作品。
